The four blind men had never seen an elephant as they were blind from birth. All of them had heard a lot about elephants. One day someone brought an elephant to them and said “Touch and feel how an elephant is”. The first blind man touched the trunk and said “The elephant might look like a snake because it feels like a snake”. The second blind man touched the ear and said “ you are wrong the elephant might look like a fan”. The third blind man touched the tip of the tail and said “Both of you are wrong the elephant might look like a broom”. The fourth blind man touched the foot of the elephant and said “The three of you are wrong the elephant might look like the trunk of tree”.
Can we say each of them were correct? No can we say each of them were wrong? No, each of their version plus a lot more is the truth. Do we jump to conclusions just hearing one part of the whole?
